have you talked to a lawyer. If i am not wrong you have also used AC-21. Do you think revocation/withdrawal of the H-1B, will affect 485 in any way.

Hello Gurus,
I got an RFE email yesterday for "additional evidence and/or information" for my pending I-485 (filed Jan 05 for Jun03PD, approved I-140). Hope to get the RFE letter by next week. I am hoping that the RFE is for the usual EVL/pay-stubs/tax-returns/ question.
Meanwhile I have travel plans starting Dec 13th. So want to get the answers/requested documents to the attorney before I leave. Since my status is still AOS(pending I-485) and I have a valid AP, I am assuming there should be a problem at the POE ? what you guys think?

Has anybody recently applied for a Schengen Visa, if yes, can you please let me know what you did for the travel insurance. The insurance from my employer (Humana) says they cover international but do not have a letter that states the same and Swedish consulate website says the letter should specifically say "International Coverage".
What are my options. Can you guys suggest where I can buy the insurance from.
I used TravelGuard. It was perfectly suited for the Schengen visa application. It cost ~$30 for the coverage amount the visa requires. There might be others, but this worked really well for me.

If we sort by 'USCIS Notice Date' (click it to sort descending), then we see this case right on top (guess second)...
This also gives a quick idea about the latest Notice Date trend. Sadly, not much activity from July 20th onwards (total 7 notices reported).

Exactly the same as mine (except that I needed to copy whole passport)
That is the exact list my lawyer has sent me. Ditto. Also, he too asked for copy of all pages (blank and printed, every single page) of passport.

My EB2 (the job requirement was Undergraduate degree with 5 years of experience) was rejected due to the 3-year degree and is in the appeals process. I have an EB3 pending at NSC for the same labor.
I can also move into a new role which probably has an EB2 requirement of Masters degree. And I have completed my MBA here. Will I be able to use my MBA degree obtained in the USA and port my priority date to a new EB2 application?

Nope...once you have used your EAD you cannot go back to H1-B. AFAIK.

Has anybody in this group(i.e. whose I-140 was transferred to TSC from NSC recently) seen any movements in their case? I am in the same boat, I-140 filed May'07 at NSC and moved to TSC in Apr'08. I saw one more related thread but haven't seen any approvals recently.

Looks like all the transfer cases are placed seperately and will not be touched for a while , My case was transfered to TSC on April 7th 08 and RD : July 5 th 07 . No word from TSC .. Not sure what we can do , more than a year of waiting for 140 approval ...God only can help us

Like all other state chapters IV TN will be a secure and trusted group of like-mided individuals. I appreciate your concern for privacy and anonymity. But we also have to keep state chapters clear of anonymous anti-immigrants opposed to our cause. Hence no exceptions will be made to the rule. My contributions to IV includes Testimony before the MI Senate when MI state refused to issue DLs to temporary residents. I am a monthly contributor to IV, and have contributed to most of the recent IV funding drives. I am a Sep 18th rally veteran and recently visited Washington DC a few months back - in person - to lobby for some of the bills that are considered 'Hot News' today.
All this is nothing compared to what IV has given back to me as an organization. I was saved thousands of dollars due to July VB reversal. EAD helped me change jobs and leave MI in this tough economic downturn and auto companies inching toward bankruptcy. I just got my 2 year EAD today , and I thank IV for saving me hundreds of Dollars by getting EAD/AP period extended to 2 years. I don't know any other organization or person who has done so much for me. I am immensely grateful to be part of this movement.
It's my pleasure to start a volunteer group in the 'Volunteer State'. Hope we won't be short of volunteers :). It makes me nostalgic about the times MI chapter started as a group of few individuals and today boasts of 60+ members. Lets get organized here too. That's the only way to make our voices heard.
This is my promise to you - I won't ask you to do anything which I haven't done myself. And I won't force you to do anything, unless you feel that waiting for others to step up will not take you anywhere, and you feel ready to do something to help yourself and your family. When you decide to do that, you'll find me by your side working with you.

If your I-485 EAD comes through you have to use that and not the F1 EAD.

Look guys, I'm a J.Barret 10:25am NSC case. I've already gotten my receipt, but my heart really goes out to all of you. I understand your pain firsthand.
What I want to say to you is, don't just sit here complaining. Do something! There are many other threads with advice as to what might be relevant to your case. Look around for CADude's posts. His information is very useful. I also posted my own experiences and solutions.
Read everything. Find out exactly what the hell is going on. Figure out all the factors. Understand the situation. An old movie had the saying "Chance favors the prepared mind." It's true.
I pray you will get out of this rut asap.
